  • 1 cup (200g) milk
  • 1/2 cup (100g) heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Assembly:

  • Confectioners' sugar
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced

  2. Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla extract, and sugar.

Make the Strawberry Panna Cotta:

  1. In a blender or food processor, puree strawberries with 1 tablespoon of honey until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture until combined.

Assemble the Mille-Feuille:

  1. On a serving plate or cake stand, create a layer of pastry cream.
  2. Top with a layer of strawberry panna cotta.
  3. Repeat layers two more times, finishing with a layer of pastry cream on top.
  4. Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve immediately.

Tips

  • To ensure the mille-feuille stays fresh, assemble just before serving.
  • For an added touch, drizzle with honey or sprinkle with chopped fresh strawberries.
