Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft-baked cookies filled with sweet strawberries and dark chocolate chips.

Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Servings: 12-15 cookies

Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups hulled and sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  3. Cream Butter & Sugars: Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat Eggs: Beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. Mix Strawberry Puree: Stir in strawberry puree.
  6. Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients: Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  7. Stir In Chocolate Chips: Fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Chill Dough: Chill the dough for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  9. Scoop Cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  10. Bake: Bake for 12-14 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  11. Cool: Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
