Spiced Salmon with Creamy Coconut-Lime Sauce

A vibrant and flavorful dish featuring pan-seared salmon topped with a creamy coconut-lime sauce infused with aromatic spices.

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions:

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, cumin, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, combine coconut milk, lime juice, cilantro, and garlic. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour sauce over salmon fillets and serve immediately.
