Ingredients:
- 2 (6 oz) sushi-grade tuna steaks
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 ripe peach, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
Instructions:
- Pat tuna steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- While tuna is cooking, combine diced peach, red onion, ginger, cilantro, lime juice, and soy sauce in a bowl.
- Serve seared tuna steaks topped with the fresh ginger-peach salsa.
