Raspberry and Almond Crumble Baked Apple

Ingredients:
- 3-4 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
Preheat and Prepare Apples
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until apples are evenly coated.
Assemble Apple Mixture and Top with Crumble
Transfer the apple mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish. In another bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, and cold butter using your fingers or a pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in sliced almonds and sprinkle over apples.
Bake to Perfection
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until topping is golden brown and the apples are tender. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
