Matcha and White Chocolate Mousse Tiramisu
Ingredients
Ladyfingers
- 12-16 ladyfingers
- 1/2 cup matcha powder (whisked into the coffee)
Mascarpone Cream
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- 3 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped
Instructions
Make the Mousse
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mascarpone, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Add the matcha powder to the mascarpone mixture and whisk until combined.
- Fold in the chopped white chocolate.
Assemble the Tiramisu
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee-matcha mixture for about 3-5 seconds on each side. They should be soft and pliable but not too wet.
- In a large serving dish, create a layer of ladyfingers.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the layers: ladyfingers, then the remaining mascarpone cream.
Notes
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
- Slice into squares and serve chilled.
