Instructions:
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 20-25 minutes
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and matcha powder.
- In a separate large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes:
- If using matcha powder, you can adjust to taste depending on how strong you like the green tea flavor.
- For an extra vibrant color, add a few drops of green food coloring to the batter before baking.
- White chocolate chips are essential for this recipe, but feel free to substitute with dark or milk chocolate if desired.
Tips:
- Make sure not to overbake the blondies as they can become dry and crumbly.
- If you're short on time, consider making these blondies in advance and storing them in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
