Matcha and White Chocolate Blondies
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat and Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Beat in Eggs and Matcha
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the matcha powder. Mix well to combine.
Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients (flour mixture) until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Step 6: Stir in White Chocolate Chips
Stir in the white chocolate chips.
Step 7: Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
Step 8: Cool
Let the blondies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
Enjoy your matcha and white chocolate blondies!
