Matcha White Chocolate Blondies

A unique blend of green tea and white chocolate in a rich blondie.

Matcha White Chocolate Blondies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preparing the Batter

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy.

  4. Gradually add white sugar and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy.

  5. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.

  6. With the mixer on low speed, gradually add flour mixture until just combined.

  7. Stir in matcha powder.

  8. Melt white chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave (30-second increments, stirring between each interval, until smooth).

  9. Fold the melted white chocolate into the batter until well combined.

  10. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  11. Let cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
