Ingredients
For the crust:
- 1 cup (200g) ground almonds
- 1/2 cup (100g) confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
For the cheesecake layer:
- 16 ounces (450g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup (30g) matcha powder
- 1 cup (240g) sour cream
For the tiramisu layer:
- 12-16 ladyfingers
- 1 cup (240ml) strong brewed coffee
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
Instructions
Prepare the crust
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8-inch (20cm) square baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together ground almonds, confectioners' sugar, matcha powder, and salt.
- Add the softened butter to the almond mixture and stir until well combined.
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Prepare the cheesecake layer
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue beating until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and matcha powder.
- Stir in the sour cream.
Assemble the dessert
