Cinnamon Roll Waffles with Cream Cheese Glaze and Caramelized Apples
Ingredients:
For the Waffles:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream

- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
Make the Waffles:
- Preheat your waffle iron to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, and cinnamon.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Cook the waffles according to your iron's instructions.
Make the Cream Cheese Glaze:
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until combined.
- Add heavy cream and beat until glaze reaches desired consistency.
Caramelize the Apples:
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sliced apples and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until caramelized.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the apples during the last minute of cooking.
Assembly
