Ingredients:

For the waffles:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the cream cheese drizzle:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your waffle iron: Preheat a Belgian-style waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Make the batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, and cinnamon. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
