Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream Pie
A rich and creamy pie filled with a chocolate peanut butter filling, topped with whipped cream and chopped peanuts.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Whipped cream and chopped peanuts for topping
Instructions:
Make the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs and sugar.
- Add melted butter and stir until well combined.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
Make the Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add confectioners' sugar and mix until combined.
- Beat in peanut butter until well combined.
- Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval until smooth.
- Fold melted chocolate into peanut butter mixture until well combined.
- Pour filling into baked pie crust.
Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate pie for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Top with whipped cream and chopped peanuts before serving.
Note: You can also make individual-sized pies using mini cast-iron skillets or ramekins.
