Chocolate Chip Cookie Crumble Apple Pie
Ingredients:
- 6-8 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Cookie Crumble:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until apples are evenly coated.
- Transfer apple mixture to a 9-inch pie dish.
- Make cookie crumble by combining dry ingredients in one bowl and cold butter and chocolate chips in another. Mix until crumbly.
- Top apple filling with cookie crumble mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until top is golden brown and apples are tender.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
