Caramel Apple Tres Leches Cake

Instructions
Step 1: Make the Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the caramel apples.
Step 2: Prepare the Tres Leches Mixture
- Whisk together evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream.
- Pour the mixture over the batter in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 3: Top with Caramel Sauce and Toasted Pecans
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cake.
- Sprinkle toasted pecans over the caramel sauce.
Notes
- To make caramel apples, dip apple slices in hot caramel sauce and let cool.
- To make the tres leches mixture, whisk together evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream.
