- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
Preheat oven and prepare crust:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Assemble and top with crumble:
- Press half of the crust mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the apple-pecan filling over the crust.
- Top with the remaining crust mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt for the crumble topping. Add the cold butter and use your fingers or a pastry blender to work it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spread the crumble topping evenly over the filling.
Bake:
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the topping is crispy.
Tips and Variations
